Methodology 2 ergo-tech

Ergo-tech is our own methodology of work for product development and production processes. It is an innovative combination of different disciplines into one harmonic process. We create rationally, and in stages: from detailed research and development work, through the selection of modern technologies and environmentally friendly design, to the creation of the final product, taking into account all of the ergonomic features.

Ergo-tech was created with our customers in mind, so as to uncompromisingly take care about the quality of the final product, as well as to ensure a systematic improvement in the comfort of travel for passengers.

Metal division1

It is here that all of the work related to the metal parts of the seats is carried out - from cutting, through milling, turning, bending, cutting and drilling, to welding and grinding the components. Much of this work is carried out with the support of advanced automation.

Paint shop2

At this stage, special protective coatings are applied, and all metal parts and seat components are assembled are painted.

Upholstery shop3

The seat covers are made in parallel to the work on the metal sections. Cutting of the material is largely automated. This is taken care of by the most modern Cutter machine on the market, but in the final stage, the main role in the sewing and upholstering process is undertaken by our staff and their precise work.

Assembly4

Here, the final product is assembled from previously protected metal and upholstered components. Seats are assembled with high accuracy, and thanks to qualified staff, this process is conducted very quickly and efficiently.

Final quality control and shipping5

At Growag, an independent control process covers each stage of the production process, and the final stage consists of a detailed inspection of the finished product just before shipment to the customer. Thanks to this, we can be sure that the products leaving our factory are always in accordance with the pre-determined specifications and of the highest quality.

Seat production - key moments in the process

The Ergo-tech approach also delivers optimisation of time and work. All key production processes are carried out at Growag in one plant. This is our advantage, which enables the smoothness and flexibility of the process and, above all, allows us to monitor quality at every stage of production.

We are pleased to inform you that at the end of June our company received a certificate confirming the requirements of EN15085-2, implemented by TÜV SÜD. Meeting the demanding requirements of EN15085-2 allows to produce new components, using a special welding process, in the railway sector. The obtained CL1 level enables welding in class from CP A to CP D. This certification is a confirmation of the highest standards of the welding workshop as well as the professionals working there.
